What data is stored?
- We only store data that you enter into Bamboo which includes data for any listings you post, messages sent between you and other users, and any information you enter about yourself on your profile. Passwords are encrypted and stored securely.
How do I delete my data from Bamboo?

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Bamboo Housing’s Website located at bamboohousing.ca
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these Terms and Conditions and have agreed to abide by and be bound by them. Do not continue to use Bamboo Housing if you do not agree to all of the Terms and Conditions stated herein. Please note that these terms may change regularly.
Bamboo Housing Services
Bamboo Housing is an online marketplace that connects students who are seeking to sublet their apartment with students looking for a space to rent. Bamboo Housing does not manage or control any listings nor handle any agreements/leases/sublet contracts between users. The transfer of the lease during the subletting or lease takeover process is to be made at the user's own risk. We are not responsible for any liabilities or problems the users face with any listings.
By using Bamboo Housing, you are responsible for all actions, directly and indirectly, that occur, and which may give rise to legal exposure to you. Feel free to email us or send us a direct message on Instagram with any questions you may have regarding the marketplace.
1. Eligibility for Users
In order to access and use Bamboo Housing or register a Bamboo Housing account, you must be an individual at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding contracts. By using Bamboo Housing you agree to the Terms and Conditions as outlined on this page.
2. Account Registration
2.1 To become a User, you must register an account by providing a valid email and creating a password. Only after creating an account you can access and use certain features on the platform.
2.2 In creating and using your User Account on Bamboo Housing, you agree to:
- provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself on any registration form required on the platform
- maintain and promptly update your User Account to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. Failure to abide by this rule may result in a suspension and termination of your account.
3. Content
3.1 Bamboo Housing enables Users to:
- create, upload, post, send and receive content, such as text, photos, video, or other materials and information on or through the platform
- access and view User Content and any content that Bamboo Housing makes available on or through the Bamboo Housing.
4. Listings
4.1 When creating a Listing through the Bamboo Housing Platform you must:
- provide complete and accurate information about your Sublandlord Service (such as listing description, listing rent price, location, and calendar availability)
- disclose any and all deficiencies, restrictions (such as house rules) and requirements that apply (such as minimum age) and
- provide any other pertinent information requested by Bamboo Housing.
5. Electronic Communication
When you register on Bamboo Housing, you must designate a primary email address that will be used for receiving electronic communication. The content received by email will include messages notification from listings or other promotional/marketing information. Bamboo Housing will never send you an email requesting confidential information such as Account numbers, Usernames, or passwords and you should never respond to an email requesting such information.
6. Disclaimers
If you choose to use the Bamboo Housing platform, you do so voluntarily and at your sole risk. The Bamboo Housing Platform is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. You agree that you have had whatever opportunity you deem necessary to investigate the Bamboo Housing Platform.
7. Termination of Service
Bamboo Housing reserves the right to terminate your User Account or the right to access secured portions of the Bamboo Housing at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and/or is harmful to other users of the Bamboo Housing Platform, to Bamboo Housing, to the business of the Bamboo Housing Platform's Internet service provider, or to other information providers.
